DAY 1: WELCOME !
Night in the hotel
You’ll get together at 6pm in the hotel to settle in, meet your guide and find out about the week’s schedule.

A week in the mountains lies ahead of you: relax and forget everything!

DAY 2: DISCOVER THE PLATEAU DES BÉNÉS
20-minute drive - 5 hours walking time – Picnic lunch – Night in the hotel - 650 m (2,135 ft) ascent / 650 m (2,135 ft) descent
Today, you will climb up on to the Plateau des Bénés above Sallanches. A magnificent viewpoint overlooking the Mont Blanc range, this plateau offers a beautiful snowshoe route.

Today’s hike through Alpine pastures and forests is a gentle start to the week in a truly spectacular setting.

DAY 3: A TASTE OF THE TMB
20-minute drive - 5 hours walking time - Picnic lunch – Night in the hotel - 600 m (1,970 ft) ascent / 600 m (1,970 ft) descent
Today holds in store a beautiful snowshoe hike near Les Contamines, taking in part of the TMB route, on the edge of the Beaufort valley.
DAY 4: VISITING TRUC ALPINE PASTURES
20-minute drive - 5 hours walking time - Picnic lunch – Night in the hotel - 650 m (2,135 ft) ascent / 650 m (2,135 ft) descent
You’ll be heading to Truc Alpine pastures on your fourth day. The view from here is truly stunning.

It is also the perfect hike to see all the different aspects of the Mont Blanc region and get a chance to see some of its fauna.
DAY 5: CROISSE BAULET
20-minute drive - 6 hours walking time - Picnic lunch – Night in the hotel - 600 m (1,970 ft) ascent / 600 m (1,970 ft) descent
Another viewpoint awaits you today as we head towards Megève.

Snow-topped Croisse Baulet is the ideal summit for a day’s snowshoe hike.
DAY 6: FINALE AT LES AYÈRES
20-minute drive - 6 hours walking time - 600 m (1,970 ft) ascent / 600 m (1,970 ft) descent
One of the most beautiful south-facing slopes in France awaits you at Les Ayères, marking the end of a wonderful week suspended in time.

At the foot of the Fiz mountain range with its limestone rocks, your eyes will be drawn to Mont Blanc, towering above you, so close.

At the end of the day, it will be time to say goodbye to your guide and the magnificent mountains.

Both in summer and winter, temperatures vary according to the altitude and there is a high wind chill factor.

Luggage

Your luggage will be waiting for you every evening in the hotel.

Transport

Every morning, your guide will come and collect all group members from the hotel. You will then travel to the start of the hike in a minibus. In the evening, the guide will take you back to the hotel. Depending on the size of the group, one of the participants may be asked to use their car to take some of the group. In this case, we will cover the cost of fuel.

Picnic lunch prepared by our chef. Breakfast and dinner are served in the hotel.

We advise you to bring your favourite snacks.

If you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know as soon as possible.

Comfortable 2 or 3-star hotel, in a twin or double room. Single rooms are available on request, at an extra charge.

Health and vaccines

No compulsory vaccines.

We strongly recommend that you make sure you are up to date with the standard vaccinations: diphtheria-tetanus-poliomyelitis, whooping cough, tuberculosis, typhoid fever, hepatitis A and B.

We recommend that you have a check-up with your dentist before you leave.

No visa is required for French nationals and citizens of bordering countries.

BUDGET, CURRENCY AND TIPS
Daily travel, all meals without extras (cold drinks, snacks, etc.), and accommodation are included in the price. Tipping is not mandatory and should reflect your satisfaction with the team.

Send us your registration along with a copy of your passport, your details (postal address, phone numbers and email address) and a deposit of 30% of the cost of the trip.

Also, if you wish to take out a Comfort or Comfort Multi-risk cancellation insurance policy, this must be paid at the same time as the deposit when you register. You can consult the insurance contracts on our website.

Insurance and assistance

We strongly advise you to take out insurance for the duration of the trip.

There are other insurance options available, such as Mondial Assistance, your own insurance company or the Club Alpin Français. You should check that they cover trekking.

Make sure that your insurance covers all medical costs in the event of an accident.

It is essential that you check and ensure that you have insurance cover for mountain rescue costs. If this is the case, you must provide us with the following information prior to your departure on the trek:

A certificate from the insurance company stating that mountain rescue costs are covered.

The contract number and telephone number of the assistance centre.

Be aware of the restrictive clauses contained in certain insurance policies (particularly those linked to bank cards such as Visa Premier, Gold or others), for example mountain insurance restricted to snow activities and altitude sickness not recognised as an illness requiring repatriation, resulting in refusal to repatriate.

Please check the actual content of your insurance and make the necessary arrangements where required.
