As a true mountain lover, he has made the area his playground and his profession, always with your happiness as his goal. He will take you off the beaten track on routes that he has designed and mapped himself. Sharing his experience and passion with you every step of the way, you can entrust yourself completely to his guidance.
Highlights of the trip
A pleasant descent through Alpine meadows and larch forests leads you to the charming village of Gruben where you will spend the night.
You will either climb up to the Col de Forclettaz at 2,874 m (9,430 ft) via the Chalte Berg or to the Meidpass at 2,790 m (9,155 ft).
The Nava and Barneuza Alpine pastures welcome you to Val d’Annivier.
Quick transfer to your B&B.
Today you will walk along the top of the photogenic Moiry dam, before climbing further up above it.
The Col du Tsaté is your reward for this beautiful ascent, while the Arolla valley, which you will reach by a short transfer, is revealed at the bottom.
The Prarayer refuge, ideally situated on the edge of the lake, awaits at the end of a long and beautiful descent.
From the col, the cabled path provides an easy route to the Perucca Vuillermoz refuge perched on the rocky glacial landscape.
Another push is required to reach your accommodation right at the bottom in Valtournenche.
You will hike up to the Theodul Pass at an altitude of 3,349 m (10,990 ft), where you will rope up to cross the glacier to Trockener Stegg.
Descent to Zermatt through Alpine pastures and typical villages with buildings clinging to the slopes.
This little-used route offers beautiful views of the Täschhorn.
The hike will end at around 4pm in St Niklaus where the group disperses.

Be aware of the restrictive clauses contained in certain insurance policies (particularly those linked to bank cards such as Visa Premier, Gold or others), for example mountain insurance restricted to snow activities and altitude sickness not recognised as an illness requiring repatriation, resulting in refusal to repatriate.
