DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN CORTINA D'AMPEZZO
Overnight stay in a hotel
Your guide will meet you at your hotel in Cortina in the evening.

Time will stand still during the wonderful week ahead of you!

DAY 2: LAKE SORAPIS
5 hours 30 walking time - 20-minute drive - Night in a hotel - 600 m (1,970 ft) ascent / 600 m (1,970 ft) descent
Descending from the Tre Croci pass, you will discover the magical setting of beautiful Lake Sorapis in the valley.

A stunning high-level loop takes you back to the starting point after this first foray into the Dolomite scenery.

DAY 3: FORMIN MASSIF
5 hours 30 walking time - 10-minute drive - Night in a hotel - 700 m (2,300 ft) ascent / 700 m (2,300 ft) descent
Today you will climb up above Cortina d'Ampezzo for a hike with varied views in the Formin massif.
The view of the different mountain groups that make up the Dolomites is spectacular throughout the walk. The circuit takes you over several successive mountain passes so that you can enjoy the scenery before finishing the hike in a beautiful larch forest.

DAY 4: TO THE BIELLA REFUGE
5 hours 30 walking time - 30-minute drive - Night in a hotel - 750 m (2,460 ft) ascent / 750 m (2,460 ft) descent
After a transfer on a forest track, you will arrive at the Ra Stua refuge for the start of today’s hike. Following a circuitous and little-used path, you will climb towards the Biella refuge, in a rocky, lunar landscape. This will provide an opportunity to observe the local wildlife.

The return loop to Cortina d'Ampezzo takes you along a different route with new viewpoints.

DAY 5: TO TOFANA DE ROZES
6 hours 30 walking time - 30-minute drive - Night in a hotel - 850 m (2,790 ft) ascent / 850 m (2,790 ft) descent
Today you will head off for a spectacular hike around Tofana de Rozes. An alpine setting awaits for a varied and beautiful route.
You will pass by the Giussani refuge before returning to the Tofana massif.

A beautiful traverse will allow you to return in a loop to enjoy the landscape to the full.
DAY 6: TRE CIME DI LAVAREDO
6 hours walking time - 30-minute drive - Night in a hotel - 550 m (1,805 ft) ascent / 550 m (1,805 ft) descent
Today you will head for the not-to-be-missed hike of this beautiful region: the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. It will make a wonderful end to your week!

You will take a stunning and unspoilt round-trip route back to the Locatelli refuge just opposite the towers. This is certainly one of the most beautiful hikes in the Dolomites.

DAY 7: TIME TO LEAVE
No particular comments
Breakfast at the hotel will mark the end of this unforgettable stay in the mountains.

6 nights in a 3-star hotel in Cortina d’Ampezzo, in a double room. If you would like a single room, a supplement will be charged. Please contact us.

We strongly recommend that you make sure you are up to date with the standard vaccinations: diphtheria-tetanus-poliomyelitis, whooping cough, tuberculosis, typhoid fever, hepatitis A and B.

We recommend that you have a check-up with your dentist before you leave.

Meals, except for supplements (cold drinks, snacks, etc.) and accommodation are included in the price of the stay. Tipping is not necessary and should reflect your satisfaction with the team.

Send us your registration along with a copy of your passport, your details (postal address, phone numbers and email address) and a deposit of 30% of the cost of the trip.

Also, if you wish to take out a Comfort or Comfort Multi-risk cancellation insurance policy, this must be paid at the same time as the deposit when you register. You can consult the insurance contracts on our website.

There are other insurance options available, such as Mondial Assistance, your own insurance company or the Club Alpin Français. You should check that they cover trekking.

Make sure that your insurance covers all medical costs in the event of an accident.

It is essential that you check and ensure that you have insurance cover for mountain rescue costs. If this is the case, you must provide us with the following information prior to your departure on the trek:

A certificate from the insurance company stating that mountain rescue costs are covered.

The contract number and telephone number of the assistance centre.

Be aware of the restrictive clauses contained in certain insurance policies (particularly those linked to bank cards such as Visa Premier, Gold or others), for example mountain insurance restricted to snow activities and altitude sickness not recognised as an illness requiring repatriation, resulting in refusal to repatriate.

Please check the actual content of your insurance and make the necessary arrangements where required.
